The Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (the Commission) make decisions to determine benefit entitlement for workers and employers’ assessments.
Workers or employers dissatisfied with a decision made by the Commission may request an internal review by an Internal Review Specialist. The Commission’s final decision will be provided in writing.

Your written request must be registered within 30 days of receiving the Commission’s written decision. Your request, stating reason for dissatisfaction with decision, must be made in writing.
An internal review specialist will inform you, in writing, of the Commission’s final decision. If you still disagree with the decision, you have the right to request an external review within 30 days of receiving the final decision from the Commission by the Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation Review Division (WHSCRD).

Under Commission policy, you (or your authorized representative) can access your file. If an injured worker’s claim is being disputed, an employer is permitted only access to information which is relevant to the disputed matter. An employer is not permitted to view workers' confidential information.
All requests must be made in writing. Please itemize the information you are requesting and submit to:
